Job description :
Job Responsibilities.
1. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams of research scientists to conduct research on semiconductor crystal materials, sodium ion batteries, all solid state batteries, lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, as well as functional materials and coatings, including long-term and exploratory research, applied research, and development.
2 Development of materials and processes for CT detector crystal materials, sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, all solid state batteries, and functional coatings.
3. Develop innovative semiconductor crystals, battery materials/devices, energy materials/devices and their processes for energy storage, energy conversion, and CT detectors, such as sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, all solid state batteries and fuel cells, CT detectors, and other household or industrial products.
4. Participate in experimental research to gain a deeper understanding of material/device performance and processes.
5. Plan, write and report research plans and proposals to Midea Group’s internal and external agencies and partners.
6. Responsible for material preparation and evaluation, device manufacturing, and process development.
7. Establish and maintain a technical cooperation network, including universities and external partners.
Job requirements.
1. Doctoral degrees in Physics, Materials Physics, Materials Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Physical Chemistry, and related disciplines.
2. More than 10 years of experience in semiconductor crystal growth, research on energy materials and battery materials or related functional materials, battery manufacturing, and device/material testing and analysis. Experience in manufacturing and characterizing sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and all solid state batteries is preferred.
3. Familiar with materials physics, materials science, and surface/interface chemistry knowledge. Experience in semiconductor crystal growth, electrolyte, anode material, cathode material synthesis and process, with priority given to the manufacturing and characterization of CT detectors, sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and all solid state batteries.
4. Master the theory, application technology, and material characterization techniques of semiconductor crystal materials, battery materials/devices.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent teamwork ability, and the ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships.
6. Having excellent problem-solving skills, able to analyze problems from a global perspective, able to identify opportunities and implement significant changes.
7. Self motivation, independent thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
8. Driven by quality, cost, and speed. possessing a passion and ability to pursue excellence, the ability to set and achieve challenging goals, viewing change and technological development as opportunities, and having a strong awareness of environment, health, and safety. Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
